*sigh*

My grandpa passed away late last night.
I never expected that he was going to die after an operation like that... He was only 77 too. My other grandpa died at 92.
We had the funeral today on short notice...so we drove out over three hours to the place and back over three hours to get home. It's been a really long day and I guess I'm super emo. He was a real sweety and idk what my wonderful grandmother is going to do without him.
Almost everyone in the family made it though, and on short notice too! Most even got to say goodbye to him and he recognized them...so that was great.

My parents are still gone, my mom's been gone a looot lately ...what with being up there with my grandma and helping with transportation... so it's pretty lonely here.

Love all, I think I'll try to fall asleep now before I guilt myself into trying to catch up on my homework and missed classes.

me.

Kristy,
What I have to say may not sound very "comforting" but it's true, nonetheless. Your grandfather belonged to God long before he belonged to you, and God is doing as He sees fit. This is the hardest for us to accept most times, as our understanding is so limited by comparison. Lest I seem insensitive, I will tell you that these words came to my mind at my own son's funeral in 2004; he was only 29. I share your grief, but I reassure you that God knows what He is doing. Hold on to that truth...and may you be both blessed and comforted!

Thanks! I had no idea you'd lost in a son in 2004. I guess that was a couple years before we met.
Things are pretty well, =) most of my family is believing so there is a lot of support going around.

Aw hun, I'm just reading this now...I'm so sorry to hear of this :( I hope things are a little bit better by now, I can't imagine how you feel, my only grandparent that I can remember died when I was about 12/13ish, it was tough. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Hang in there :petting:

 Thanks for reading it even though it's late. Things are a lot better, my mom needs a lot of support and it's tougher on her...but we're all doing pretty well. We're going to go upa nd visit my grandma for the weekend next weekend.
I lost my other grandpa like three years ago...so that would be about 12/13 ish too.
 thanks, love

:( My prayers are with you Kristy. Your mom will only become stronger from this...I mean, who wants to think about their father dying, but it just makes me appreciate my father for everything he's done for me so far, and will in the future. I can't wait to move out to PA, as they're most likely going to come move out there with us (since he's losing his job by the end of the year). It will be so awesome, especially since he offered to help homeschool my kid(s)! I'm sorry to hear of your other grandpa...I send hugs your way!
:iconahuvah:
waiiiittttt...you HAVE moved to PA? when did you move to PA? or are they going to when you do at the end of the year?
 Thanks, dear. :aww:

Noo, I haven't moved yet! We've been keeping our eye on a few houses though...house hunting is more or less a waiting game right now! :crying: I think around the end of the year and/or beginning of next year is a 90% definite though  I'm a bit anxious about it!

And most welcome
:iconahuvah:
awesome. =) well I do hope I'll meet you sometime, even if it's just in passing.
