My grandpa passed away late last night.
I never expected that he was going to die after an operation like that... He was only 77 too. My other grandpa died at 92.
We had the funeral today on short notice...so we drove out over three hours to the place and back over three hours to get home. It's been a really long day and I guess I'm super emo. He was a real sweety and idk what my wonderful grandmother is going to do without him.
Almost everyone in the family made it though, and on short notice too! Most even got to say goodbye to him and he recognized them...so that was great.

My parents are still gone, my mom's been gone a looot lately ...what with being up there with my grandma and helping with transportation... so it's pretty lonely here.

Love all, I think I'll try to fall asleep now before I guilt myself into trying to catch up on my homework and missed classes.

My grandpa passed away last year. I'm so sorry. Hang in there. It'll slowly get easier, even if you never stop missing him. :hug:

I am so sorry hun :hug: And I know exactly how you feel. My grandma died my senior year in high school, and I was devastated. But you'll make it through, you're a strong girl :-) :hug;

A couple months ago, my last grandpa died, but I barely knew him, because my dad tried so hard to keep us away from his side of the family( because they were religious).
So, i guess I don't know that loss, but..yeah.
I dunno why I just shared that.
