Surprised? This was a quick one...meaning four hours.
 that's super fast for me. I did it during school yesterday mostly.... quick!! It was quite a bit of fun  and the muzzle is supposed to be blury, only the eye and some of the mane is in focus. Quite interesting to try and draw blury... I haven't tried it exactly like that before. Scanner is horrible.  I hope you like it. Thanks again for the bristol board Manda'. I'm putting it to good use   Time :: about 4 hours Reference Used :: I did use a reference but I can't find it... ? Materials :: 0.5 mechanical pencil, 4B pencil, smudge stick, tissue, cotton bud, reg and kneadable eraser, 115lb Windsor & Newton extra smooth bristol board. Size :: A5 Copyright to Kristen Ritz. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. I love the sharpness and 'look' in the eye, and I can see how the focus softens in front of and behind it.
also I just noticed the mane, white manes are really difficult because you have to leave the white hairs and draw around them, if you know what I mean... the negative space creates the white hairs. Which is a pain in the butt to do XD yours looks so lovely and soft.
