Okay okay okay okay. I know I said ...or I think I said...I wouldn't submit another WIP till I was almost done. Welllll her butt's a lil rough yet...and I haven't done her hind legs...but I did fix some things...
I did her head like...over a little bit and it looks muuuch better to me. I didn't lighten the mane or tail or add any highlights! (I still probably plan to so...I am aware that it may look dull towards the rest of her shinyness...) Oh, and I fixed her chest too! Does that look better? A lil less caved in? The more I work the more I realize how much of a pain glare is on the computer screen  Other than that. Enjoy! Critique if you want... and I'm still brainstorming a background so any input on that is also accepted  even if I don't take your advice   If someone would steal this right now (even though it's unfinished) I would be almost ready to ...do something bloody and drastic.  So be careful! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. oof and the background?? I always have a tough time with that too--well judging from the colour scheme you've chosen, anything high contrast for the background would be great--preferrably simple (or blurry) too so it won't distract from the horse!

I'm not sure about the background, but what I would say is stick with the colour you've got... or if possible, maybe a slightly lighter more natural sky-blue? The blue complements the bay coat so well. Maybe just add some gradient, say bright to light blue... to look like sky. Lighter blue towards the bottom. Simple is best I think, against such a magnificent detailed subject
What do you plan to do at the bottom, crop it or put grass there, or?
